How does a telehealth visit work?

Schedule your appointment online, complete your intake information, and meet with Morris Smith, FNP-C through a secure virtual visit from your phone, tablet or computer.

What conditions can you treat?

We treat many common acute illnesses, chronic conditions, medication refills, hormone health concerns, weight management, allergies, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, pink eye, cold and flu symptoms, and more

Can prescriptions be sent to my pharmacy?

Yes. If medication is appropriate, prescriptions can be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy during your visit.

Do you accept insurance?

We offer affordable self-pay visits with transparent pricing. Please contact us regarding insurance participation and available payment options.

Do I have to live in Texas or New Mexico?

Yes. Morris Smith is licensed to provide telehealth services to patients who are physically located in Texas or New Mexico at the time of their appointment.

What if I need lab work or imaging?

If medically necessary, lab work or diagnostic testing can be ordered and discussed during your appointment.

Is my visit secure?

Absolutely. All telehealth visits are conducted using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology to protect your privacy.

What if my condition requires emergency care?

Telehealth is not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, or another life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.

Cancellations

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment will receive a full refund or may be applied to a future appointment.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are non-refundable.

No-Shows

Patients who do not attend their scheduled appointment without prior notice will be charged the full appointment fee.

Late Arrivals

Please log into your virtual visit through Doxy.me 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. (Link provided when scheduling)

If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and the appointment fee may be forfeited.
